How does Alkanna work?

Alkanna might have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.

Are there safety concerns?

Alkanna is UNSAFE when used directly on broken skin or when taken by mouth. There isn't enough information to know if alkanna is safe when applied to unbroken skin. Some alkanna products contain chemicals that can cause serious liver problems, blocked veins, and cancer.

Do not use alkanna if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You have liver disease.
