CONTRAINDICATIONS
AVONEX is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to natural or recombinant interferon beta, or any other component of the formulation [see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS].
The lyophilized vial formulation of AVONEX is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to albumin (human).
