"NIH expects to admit a patient who has been exposed to the Ebola virus to its Clinical Center in the coming days. The patient is an American physician who was volunteering services in an Ebola treatment unit in Sierra Leone.
Patients should be informed that:
- If the patient is diabetic, he/she should be informed that CEDAX (ceftibuten) Oral Suspension contains 1 gram sucrose per teaspoon of suspension.
- CEDAX (ceftibuten) Oral Suspension should be taken at least 2 hours before a meal or at least 1 hour after a meal (see CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY, Food Effect on Absorption).
