Can you tell me a little more about Chien Chin Chih Tai Wan?

Chien Chin Chih Tai Wan is a Chinese Medicinal Formula that is first listed in the "Compendium of Therapy for Women's Diseases" (Ji Yin Gang Mu) which dates back to the Qing Dynasty of 1644 to 1911 AD It is considered similar to Yu Dai Wan as its primary use is as a treatment for vaginal discharge due to Qi and Blood deficiency. This problem is often diagnosed as related to the digestion. (Digestive problems regulate the dispersal of fluids through the body. If this aspect of the b.d. is weak then fluids can collect in unwanted areas or, as in this case, "leak" out of the body.) Its use in treating menstrual cramping is due to its ability to encourage movement if a patient is suffering from Stuck Liver QI. It has also been used to treat irregular menstruation due to Qi and/or Blood Stagnation or Kidney and Liver deficiency.
