Overdosage & Contraindications
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Danazol should not be administered to patients with:
- Undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding.
- Markedly impaired hepatic, renal, or cardiac function.
- Pregnancy. (See WARNINGS.)
- Breast feeding.
- Porphyria—Danazol can induce ALA synthetase activity and hence porphyrin metabolism.
