DRUG DESCRIPTION

Fluocinolone Acetonide
Topical Solution USP, 0.01%

Fluocinolone Acetonide is a topical, synthetic steroid used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic agent. It has the following molecular formula C24HF2O6 and a molecular weight of 452.50.

Chemical Name:

Pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione. 6,9-difluoro-11,21-dihydroxy-16,17-[(1-methylethylidene)bis(oxy)]-, [6a ,11b ,16a ]-.

Each mL Contains:

ACTIVE: Fluocinolone Acetonide, 0.1 mg (0.01%),

INACTIVES: Propylene Glycol, Anhydrous Citric Acid. Diisopropanolamine and/or additional Citric Acid may be added to adjust pH.
