INDICATIONS

For the relief of mild to moderate pain.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Darvon is given orally. The usual dosage is 65 mg propoxyphene hydrochloride every 4 hours as needed for pain. The maximum recommended dose of propoxyphene hydrochloride is 390 mg/day.

Consideration should be given to a reduced total daily dosage in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

HOW SUPPLIED

Darvon ® Pulvules ® are available in:
65 mg capsules with opaque pink body and cap, imprinted with the script "Darvon" on the body, in edible black ink.

They are available as follows:

Storage: Store at 20º to 25º C (68º to 77º F ) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]
