S-Caine

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patients should be advised that topical application of local anesthetics such as S-Caine may lead to diminished or blocked sensation in the treated skin. For this reason, patients should be instructed to avoid trauma to the treated area. Trauma can result from scratching or rubbing before complete sensation has returned, or from exposure to extreme temperatures or to excessive sunlight.
