DRUG DESCRIPTION
Trimethoprim is a synthetic antibacterial available in scored, white tablets, each containing 100 mg trimethoprim or 200 mg trimethoprim.
Inactive Ingredients: Corn Starch, Dibasic Calcium Phosphate Dihydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide and Sodium Starch Glycolate.
Trimethoprim is 2,4-diamino-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl) pyrimidine.
It is a white to cream-colored, odorless, bitter compound with a molecular weight of 290.3.
