What Other Drugs Interact with Vancomycin?

If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, your doctor or pharmacist may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them. Vancomycin has no known severe interactions with other drugs.

Serious interactions of vancomycin include:

• bacitracin
• BCG vaccine live
• cholera vaccine
• thyphoid vaccine live

Vancomycin has moderate interactions with at least 30 different drugs.

Vancomycin has minor interactions with at least 55 different drugs.
