Advise patients to inspect DIANEAL before use, and not to use if the solution is cloudy, discolored, contains particulate matter or if there is evidence of leakage.


Advise patients on proper administration and the importance of using aseptic technique throughout the entire PD procedure. Advise patients only to use dry heat to warm solution to about 37°C (98°F) and not to microwave or submerge in water.


Advise patients to seek medical attention if they experience signs or symptoms of peritonitis.
