Didronel (etidronate disodium) is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic Paget's disease of bone and in the prevention and treatment of heterotopic ossification following total hip replacement or due to spinal cord injury. Didronel (etidronate disodium) is not approved for the treatment of osteoporosis.

Didronel Consumer Information: Uses

Etidronate is used to treat a certain type of bone disease called Paget's disease. This disease weakens and deforms bones.
