ciprofloxacin-hydrocortisone otic decreases effects of ferrous sulfate oral by reducing drug absorption from the stomach and intestine into the body when taken by mouth. Should not be taken together; may reduce availability of drug. Take ciprofloxacin at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after using these products. Use alternatives if available.

Coadministration of ciprofloxacin with multivalent cation-containing products may reduce the bioavailability of ciprofloxacin by 90%. Administer ciprofloxacin at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after using these products. Use alternatives if available.
