HalfLytely and Bisacodyl Tablets
OVERDOSE
Using more than the recommended dosage of bisacodyl in conjunction with HalfLytely solution increases the frequency of common adverse events and may increase the risk of ischemic colitis [see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS].
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The HalfLytely and Bisacodyl Tablet Bowel Prep Kit is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Gastrointestinal (GI) obstruction
- Bowel perforation
- Toxic colitis and toxic megacolon
- Gastric retention
- Ileus
