How does Hempnettle work?

Hempnettle increases the coughing up and spitting up of mucous from the lungs, bronchi, and wind pipe (expectorant) and shrinks body tissues (astringent effects).

Hempnettle seems to be safe when taken by mouth for most people, but the potential side effects are not known.
