Hops

font size

How does Hops work?

The chemicals in hops seem to have weak estrogen effects.

Are there safety concerns?

Hops are considered safe for most people.

Do not take hops if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You have been diagnosed with depression.
  • You are scheduled for surgery in the next two weeks. Hops might cause excessive sedation if combined with medications used during and after surgery.
