Recommended Vaccination Schedule

MUMPSVAX (mumps virus vaccine live) is indicated for vaccination against mumps in persons 12 months of age or older. It is not recommended for infants younger than 12 months because they may retain maternal mumps neutralizing antibodies which may interfere with the immune response.

Individuals first vaccinated with MUMPSVAX (mumps virus vaccine live) at 12 months of age or older should be revaccinated with M-M-R* II (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Virus Vaccine Live) prior to elementary school entry. Revaccination is intended...
