Benzodiazepines are a class of drugs primarily used for treating anxiety, but they also are effective in treating several other conditions. For what conditions are benzodiazepines used?

Benzodiazepines are used for treating:

  • anxiety,
  • seizures, and
  • insomnia.

They also are used for:

  • general anesthesia,
