Pyrazinamide is indicated for the initial treatment of active tubercuIosis in adults and children when combined with other antitubercu-lous agents. Pyrazinamide Consumer Information: Uses

Pyrazinamide is used with other medications to treat tuberculosis (TB). It is an antibiotic and works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
