Medical Definition of Fecal incontinence
Fecal incontinence: Inability to hold feces in the rectum. This is due to failure of voluntary control over the anal sphincters permitting untimely passage of feces and gas. Also called rectal incontinence.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
