Definition of Amygdaloid
Amygdaloid: Like an almond. Almond-shaped. As the amygdaloid nucleus in the brain, a structure that anatomists thought resembled an almond. Amygdaloid is pronounced in three syllables: amyg da loid. From the Greek amydale (almond) + the Greek eidos (like).
