Definition of Isodisomy
Isodisomy: A remarkable situation in which both chromosomes in a pair are from one parent only. Isodisomy causes some birth defects and is suspected to play a role in cancer. Also known as uniparental disomy.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
