Definition of Polydactyly

Polydactyly: More than the normal number of fingers or toes. From the Greek "polys" (many) + "dactylos" (finger) = many fingers or, medically, too many fingers. Polydactyly is the opposite of oligodactyly (too few fingers or toes).
