Definition of Sexually transmitted diseases in women

Sexually transmitted diseases in women: Women can contract any sexually transmitted disease. Symptoms may vary widely, and in some cases, may have no symptoms. Protection from infection includes "safe sex" practices (i.e., use of condoms) or abstinence from sexual activity.
