Intranasal Spray and Intramuscular Injection Prevent H1N1 Swine Flu Infection
Along with intravenous Peramivir for severe, hospitalized swine flu emergencies, the FDA recently approved both forms of the swine flu vaccine: influenza A (H1N1) 2009 monovalent vaccine (inactivated injectable) and the live intranasal spray. While the swine flu pandemic has increased demand for the H1N1 vaccine, immunization against H1N1 may not be for everyone.
