I have used Allegra for a decade to control and minimize my system's allergic reaction to everything from trees to grasses and from cats to dogs and from mites to mildew-- I'm allergic to everything it seems at times! :-) Allegra 180 has been extremely effective for me, although I do supplement periodically with antihistimine eyedrops and/or a nasal steroid. That said, when pollen and ragweed counts rise drastically, Allegra helps immensely but does not relieve entirely my symptoms. Published: December 22, 2007 ::
After having persistent hives from an unkown cause, I started to take Allegra. Don't know why, but...immediately I found good results. Published: February 11, 2008 ::
I suffered for years with upper respiratory infections due to my chronic nasal drip set off by my allergies. This lead to my developing Asthma. Allegra is the only drug that stopped my nasal drip, without side affects, and since using it, I don't get upper respiratory infections at all. Published: October 30, 2007 ::
I was very sick hives over 80% of my body my lips swollen, eyesswollen I was always itchy, hot , swollen, stomach cramps for 2 years different allergy-immunology couldnt figure it out they tried all different meds including prednisone and a special diet and a 201 allergy shot test that found 200 allergies. my regular dr. always thought it was due to my hormones he was right after my hysterectomy ALLEGRA cured my hives it was a miricle for me i had my life back now i no longer have health ins. and i have hives and swelling again the only thing that i wish is that you would have an affordable over the counter allegra im sure that i am not the only one who goes to the hosp for allergies when i tell them allegra will help me they say go to your dr. but i cant afford it the strees from that makes the hives worse so you can see it would be great if you could go to the drugstore and just purchase ALLEGRA it works great no side affects no hives like i said you can have your life back but better allergy - free Published: January 19, 2008 ::
Well tolerated and does not make me sleepy. Works well for my seasonal allergies. Published: December 31, 2007 ::
Sometimes it does the job, and sometimes I wonder why I take it. Published: October 08, 2007 ::
One problem: this medication seems to make my skin so dry, I continue itching. It's not as severe as the hives it was originally prescribed for, but it causes me to scratch - which is impeding my complete recovery. I had discovered I was allergic to Lasix and got off of it. But I have scratched so much for a year, my skin is damaged and taking a very long time to recover. (Zyrtec also caused extreme drying out - in lungs and bowels!) I take supplementary antihistamine - Benadryl - it helps for 2 - 3 hours, but there is a limit on how much I can take. Would like to have some medical input on this side effect. I have chronic sinus inffections. This pill is the only one that helps with my severe shoulder pain. Tylenol. Advil,or Aleve do nothing. There is nothing in your description about pain relief. Published: November 19, 2007 ::

I didn't think i had allergies, but my doctor was really big on the study of the sinuses and he thought that everyone atleast at one time in their life had allergies. He retired and I got a new doctor. He asked me if i ever got up in the morning and had a sore throat. I said yes he said i probably have allergies and he put my on Allegra D. It made all the pressure in my sinuses go away! It makes me feel more awake and less hungry. I love it. I never have side effects unless I forgot to take it, then I feel tired that day and theres more pressure on my face. But i take it everyday and it helps. Published: December 30, 2007 ::
