I was put on this in error, was on it for 7 1/2 months, @ 4000 mg per day. Had headache for 3 months after I came off of this med. Also had one headache while on this that lasted 3 1/2 weeks, I had restless leg syndrom and leg cramps while on this.I had trouble sleeping. I should have been on Omacor. I found out I also had a large brain aneurysm that resulted in surgery. Has anyone else been on this med. for this long or longer? What are other side effects? Published: June 21, 2008 ::

I was interested to read the lady's post about being put on it by mistake. I'm a hemophiliac and this drug has been effective for me the majority of the time. I can't imagine being on it for that long as the side effects are not good. Dizzyness being the worst. I've honestly never heard of anyone being on this drug that long and the mistake is most unfortunate. Liquid form as a kid was nasty and as an adult popping 8 pills per dose is aggravating. Like i said for a hemophiliac the drug is effective just annoying. Published: March 15, 2009 ::
