My question to you is why can we no longer find this medication? The dose I have been taking for years is Bumex 1mg and i've searched everywhere and it can't be located. can you tell me why it's not being found anywhere? Published: October 04, 2007 ::

Just don't take before a long car ride or activity where you can't stop frequently. You will have to take lots of trips to the bathroom. I just wait till I'm at my destination. Published: December 16, 2007 ::

I've been taking this a longtime now. Am starting to have potassium problems. I take alot - I think - 4 10 meq per day. Even with that much I'm having symptoms of K-8 deficiency & that's not fun.Don't know for sure what we're going to do. Maybe just more K-8, cuz this stuff works. Published: July 17, 2008 ::

I took it for many years, I have been changed to Lasex and it dosen't work as good as the Bumex. I am going to see if my Doctor will put me back on it. Because I swell every day real bad when the weather is warm, even worse when it's real hot. Published: March 31, 2009 ::

I was given Bumex in the hospital thru an IV. It worked good but the progressive muscle pain in every part of my body was almost unbearable at times. I could hardly make it to the bathroom because of the leg pain which caused a whole new set of issues. Had to take pain pills to counteract the + effects of the diuretic effects. Not sure if this will continue if I get off the IV and change to oral at home. I HOPE not. I have living to do and don't want to be saddled with "one more thing". Published: May 23, 2009 ::
