this definitely works but it's the most painful thing i've ever felt in my life. i can barely sleep because of the pain and simple things like just standing or sitting or driving is almost unbearable. i used it for 3 days of treatment and it's lucky that the warts are gone because i would not continue to use it

The doctor told me it was going to burn of course. Agreeing with everyone else it burned like crazy. The directions I was given was 2x a day for 3 days then 4 days without(I suppose so it won't damage the skin). Within 2 days of using this about 90% of the warts were gone. Even a day or two after off of it my rectum was still sore and hurt like nobody's business. I'm on my second round today, I'm pretty happy with the results. Just the price is ridiculous, I paid $63 on Anthem Blue Shield. Originally it would have cost $350. Now if only it worked for internal as well I would love it.

The pain was horrible! After my 1st use, skin turned white. 2nd use, skin turned red and started bleeding. Appointment at Kaiser tomorrow. I will never use this again!!! The stupid part is that the pharmist told me not to use my fingers but to use a Q-Tip. How are you to aim at the target with a Q-Tip? If this medication is so powerful and you only need to apply to wart, how in the heck is the Q-Tip gonna know where the wart is?? So now I have my whole thing red and bleeding.

I would like to start out by saying that I read through one page of reviews, and everyone complains about the pain. Well, I took Aldara for FOUR months straight, with next to no results, and by the end of those four months my scrotum and surrounding areas were extremely red and painful (and stayed red for over a month afterwards). I just finished my first week of condylox, and yes, it burns and it's uncomfortable, but quite a few warts are already scabbing up. I suppose I had some experience with the aldara and I quickly learned that using more wasn't better. Use it *as directed* and only apply a thin layer. Also, in the off days it may be possible to use something called "solarcane," it's a numbing sunburn spray you can get at walmart and it can also be used for blisters, scrapes, etc and it helps quite a bit. Although I didn't ask my Dr. if that's something I should be using... Also, the price depends on whatever your copay is. It was only $5 for me.

This stuff is amazingg!!!! I got cryotherapy twice and it actually made it worse so my dr. Gave me condylox to use, it was 30 dollars if you have kieser and your copay is 15. if you have days where you don't have to do anything or you'll be at home id recommend using it on those days. I put it on with a q tip but I put extreme bare min. 3 times a day and I DID NOT RUB IT IN. I dabbed it with the q tip and dried it with a hair dryer. It didn't sting until I got up but I lounged on the couch for a good couple hours and I didn't feel a thing. I did this for the 3 days and I saw extreme improvement.. the rest days all the warts fell off and trust me.. I had a lot. It made my skins extremly dry though and cracked. I had a few lesions but I put neosporn with pain relief on it and it helped a lot. I didn't feel anything at all. All the side effects and the pain are seriously a small price to pay for getting rid of your warts in just 3 days.. I def. Recommend this for anyone that has warts..

Had a few warts on shaft of penis and a cluster of them at base of shaft (size of quarter). Used as prescribed, was careful to keep off healthy skin. By day 4, cluster of warts turned white and the skin peeled off with much pain. They appear to be gone, will let the area heal some more before i apply 2nd treatment(if needed, i think i see some wart tissue i may of missed). I have used Aldera in the past with no results, i have removed warts with OTC wart medicine (salitic acid,sp), however they always return. while there is pain involved i am pleased with this drug and hope they are gone for good. bummer of an std.

Worked but looked like a horror movie down there. Doctors have much better treatments at their disposal! Seems like the docs and med companies are making extra cash by having us burn our genitals off at home, when they should be removing them in a clinival setting! Stay away...CHEMICAL BURNS!!!
