    I was given a cytogam infusion to combat the effect CMV had on my unborn child. She was diagnosed with severe brain trauma, bowel echogenicities, rapid heartbeat, enlarged liver, and is small for gestational age. Since receiving the treatment, the brain trauma has mostly cleared, and the bowel, liver and heart problems were resolved. The left brain ventricle is smaller than normal, but everything else seems to be looking well. Published: July 25, 2008 ::
