Dysport - User Reviews
It has been HELL. I received Dysport two and a half months ago and I have been miserable. At times I feel like I am going to die. Started with sinus pressure, then eye irritation, then headaches. I have had a headache for a month. Non stop, worse than migraines. I am scared. Had CT scan and MRI tomorrow. Have seen 8 doctors: allergiest, dermatologist, internist, psychiatrist. The anxiety and depression have been off the charts. I had Botox for ten years with no problem. I reported this to FDA.

I have used Botox with excellent results for several years. Was injected with Dysport and it ruined my face. Drooping eyelid, mouth drooping. Look like I had a stroke. My eyes have been so swollen I can barely see. Please do not use this product. I also had extreme hoarseness and a migraine that went on for days. Never, ever had a problem with Botox. I regret ever having this done to me. I look ten years older and I had this done over 3 months ago. The drooping eyelid has improved somewhat, the side of my mouth, not so much. I had a wide, beautiful smile and now look like a circus freak. It was not injected anywhere near my mouth, but can feel a muscle in my cheek that feels paralyzed. I pray this wears off. I can't believe what happened to me. This product is terrible and should have never made it to market. I'm afraid I will be permanently disfigured from this. Please, use Botox instead. Works much better, with beautiful results. I hope they pull Dysport off the market. It's ruined my face.

I have used Botox in the past without side effects. Was injected with Dysport by my dermatologist about two weeks ago. Began having severe headaches and neckaches that wont quit. On a scale of 1-10 these are a ten. Also experienced nausea. Wondering how long this is going to last as it has been two weeks and it is not getting any better. Affecting my whole life. Im afraid to move. Taking otc pain meds all day every day which I used to hardly ever take. I will never take this medicine again. I strongly advise against taking this product if these are the possible side effects. This HURTS!
I chose Dysport for brow lines and crows feet. What I got was left side facial paralysis, sensitivity to light and eye irritation. I would not use the product again. I feel like I have had a stroke due to the paralysis. I am not certain how long this will last - it has been a couple of weeks now. I cannot go outside without dark sunglasses. The light is painful especially on a sunny day. A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon administered the injection.
I received Dysport on the 16th of April and after 2 weeks, I developed generalized weakness, facial droop and eye droop. I look so old. I still have headache, diplpia and photophobia. What a painful experience!
I recieved 160 units, woke the next morning very ill, nausea, stomach cramping, votimiting...I called the Dr and she was not empathtic at all , made it sound like I was making this up...I guess she needs to protect herself from any blame....never again will I use this product

After 3 months of the injection. I still feeling al kind of illness. swelling eye lids, terrible headache. very sensitive to allergic reactions. hives, respiratory difficulty, problems with my vision etc. I got it all. Too bad I didn't take precautions and study the treatment before having it done. People talk about botox and dysport like going to get a cup a coffe. No one really talk about the repercutions of getting the germ in your body. I think that there is more emphasy on the glamour side of it, than on the real side efects. It has been three months since I infected myself with the botox germ and I am praying to get back to myself sooner than later. Please if anyone out there is thinking about it, talk to your doctor and at least be aware of the side effects.
