I take this for cronic pain and arthritis (2 per day). It makes me somewhat nauseas and dizzy at times. It only takes the edge off of the pain for me, but it does help with flexibility. Side effects can be hard to deal with.

This drug has side effects that takes several months to appear, be very cautious while taking this drug. I also missed some great things in my life because of this.

I use this drug for pain in my back as well as an antiinflamatory for nerve damage I had quite a few years back. I am very happy with the results that I get from Etodolac.

Doesn't even get rid of a headache, nevermind a back ache and all the pain from fibromyalgia. I consider it a glorified Aleve.

I was taking 2400mg of ibuprofen daily with no help and now only two etodolacs a day. This drug has helped alot but sometimes have a stomach ache and need to reduce the amount to one pill until the pain goes away then fine with two again.

OMG .. before this drug came in to my life.. I would have episodic bouts of pain that were so excruciating.. sometimes I would be up for days at a time asking God to take the pain away or take me away. Yes, it was THAT bad. Etodolac was a true God send. Thank you Dr. Kheshgi!

Had dull but constant pain in upper back/shoulder blade. Doc intitally prescribed over the counter anti-imflammatory (Aleve) & Moist Heat, neither was of help. Pain got worse and also started causing numbness down right arm. Awaiting results of MRI, but Dr thinks it might be rotator cuff and in the meantime prescribed Etodolac for the pain. It has done the trick, pain is gone without any of the side effects mentioned in other posts.

seemed to help when I first started taking it but after about 4 weeks of occasional usage (as needed) it seems to be less effective. Taking for severe sciatic pain in my hip and leg.

This medicine makes my stomach hurt and I can't even eat and gives me little if any relief but I take it because it's all I have to take and my doctor gave it to me knowing I had liver and a heart problem. I don't like it but take it until I get something better!
