Taken 2 to 3 times a day, this medication is the difference between whether or not I have enough saliva to eat food and prevent sores inside my mouth. It's been a real lifesaver. I have not noticed any side effects. Published: November 24, 2007 ::

I was put on this drug for sjogren's Syndrom. Not only has it helped my dry mouth, eyes, and skin; it has reduced the fatigue and muscle pain. I feel better than I have for many years. Published: November 11, 2008 ::

I had to start this drug because my dr. would not be willing to change my HTN meds.If it wasn't for this med I would have taken myself off my meds because of the unbearable side effect of dry mouth. Published: February 12, 2008 ::

Until my Rheumatologist prescribed me this med, I had no idea just how dry my mouth really was! I couldn't believe the first time I took it how quickly it worked and voila, I could actually spit for the first time in three years! Now I am no longer "married" to my water bottle. Also, it has helped a lot with controlling chronic oral thrush. The downside of this is the sweating. I have to time it just right so I'm not dealing with this really annoying side effect while trying to go to sleep. Also, this stuff is really expensive (can't wait for the generic!) but despite these things, it is so worth it for me. It has made a tremendous difference for me and is a mainstay in my drug arsenal to fight this crazy condition. Published: July 29, 2008 ::

Radiation for tonsil cancer resulted in xerostomia. I found Evoxac preferable to Salagen. It is more effective, with less side effects. Published: February 05, 2008 ::

Took the drug for dry mouth after a virus affected my sense of smell and left me with a dry mouth/burnt tongue feeling. The drug makes me very dizzy and shaky. I can't drive or function well. I am on a beta blocker for blood pressure. Going off evoxac after just over a week. Gives me tingly feeling in my mouth and does help produce more saliva, but side affects are not worth it for me. I've been taking Evoxac for about 3 months and it helped my dry mouth so much when I first started it that I had to only take it twice a day rather than 3 times. But now I'm having dry eyes a lot and Evoxac is not helping them at all. It's not helping as much for my dry mouth as it was when I first started it. Published: February 04, 2009 ::

Evoxac relieves dry mouth without side effects for me. Dry mouth is not 100 percent gone, but Evoxac helps enough to continue use. Published: February 03, 2009 ::
