    i take glumetza 500 mg extended release, the only side effect i am experiencing is a very gassy stomach, other then that, i notice a change on how i feel. i dont get that low sugar feeling. I guess i would rather have gas then feel bad. Published: November 04, 2008 ::

    I'm pre diabetic and insuln resistant. Been on glumetza 4 months and actually notice a change in my figure. I've always had a big belly and it's getting flatter each month. Friends are asking if I lost weight and the answer is no! The down side are loud "toots" after eating and taking the pill. I once thought I could sneak out a "toot" in a resturant and the waitress across the room turned around thinking we were calling her! Published: May 27, 2009 ::
