Comment from: 25-34 Female on Treatment for less than 1 month (Patient)

I was on Yasmin for almost 3 years for PCOS and just recently had to switch to a BCP with a generic, so my Dr. and I chose Cyclessa (because I was worried about weight gain). I haven't taken a full month yet, but since I have started taking it I have become irrational, irritable, unable to sleep well, unable to concentrate, and just unable to cope with normal day to day life. I know everyone is different, but I'm going to have to go back to Yasmin even though a generic is not available. Published: February 09, 2008 ::

Comment from: 35-44 Female on Treatment for 1-2 years (Patient)

I had every side effect that was listed under the severe side effect section. I was on Desogen previously, which contains the same hormones in higher dosages.I had headaches and my vision had gotten progressively worse. I was having mood swings and couldn't concentrate. The only reason that I switched to Cyclessa was at the advise of my Dr. because for some reason the pharmacy was always late with refilling my script for Loestrin every month even if I called it in early. Never again. Published: April 18, 2008 ::
