Had this test done just this morning and was told it would cause Headache. It has but drinking something with caffeine in it has helped to bring on relief. All together I feel that this test was not to difficult and if I had to do over again at least I will be prepared. Published: August 22, 2008 ::

used instead of treadmill sress test. caused my blood pressure to go haywire; has given me headaches and blured vision; would highly recommend no one undertake such a test! Published: May 28, 2008 ::

Female age 56, over weight. Had the test today at noon, in a controlled setting, clinic, not a hospital. Did not know what to expect. Was a bit scary. Felt a lot of chest pressure. On a 1-10 scale, it got to a 7, after about 4 minutes. They gave me an injection of something to counter what I was feeling. It took a few minutes for the pressure to dissipate. It will take 2 days to get results. It was not a pleasant experience, but sure beats having a heart attack on the street. I would recommend this test to someone with an abnormal EKG, even if it's just one showing changes from a prior normal EKG. Published: May 20, 2009 ::
