I was glad to see another person noticed that it affected their vision. It did for me too; not enough to stop using it against my cough, though. Glad to know it was not just my eyes.

First it taste so bad.Second i was only able to sleep 2-3 hours at a time then i would wake up with a really bad coughing spell. doctor changed me to hycodan

i developed a chest cold/cough that woudl trigger brochospasms. The dr prescribed this to stop the cough so i could breathe again, but it only worked well for the first few days and by a week's time, it basically just made me dizzy and did not sto my cough.

I had a upper respiratory infection and felt like total crap up until I began taking this particular medicine. Tastes great too!!

my mother has it and when i get these colds that cause a hacking cough and laryngitis i cant sleep took it tiwce so far and boy did i sleep soundly today woke at 1:45 PM was awake all night till 4:30 AM recommend light use cause it can make you feel weak and drowsy Vicks Ny quil is fine for me but this precription strenght DM syrup is too strong !

this medicine is great it works really quick like in a week or less you'll be cured. the only problem is that it doesn't taste good and it makes you really drowsy

I was given this medication along with a Zpack for pnemonia. It works well and doesn't make me too drowsey to perform my job and operate a vehicle. Taste wise it wasn't any worse than OTC Nyquill, it helped a lot.

Have used it once. Just starting a daily dose of it.

This worked really good for my bad cough and colc, better that anything I've purchaes over the counter.

As we know medications effect everyone differently, yes it does make you drowsy, but bottom line it worked for me, within minutes i started feeling better i had a horrible flu with bloodcurdling cough especially at night, two days later i was almost 100%, but what works on some people might not work on all
