It works well for sleeping. I tend to get manic and unable to sleep. The lower dose is the best. It's important to stay on it even though the first few days are a bit rough meaning "grogginess." Published: June 12, 2008 ::

I have been taking Seroquel for about a year. 400mg at bedtime. My doctor recently added Seroquel XL (300 mg) to my reqular Seroquel dose. I use seroquel at night (300) mg and it helps me to sleep and to feel less anxiety in the morning hours. It is a possibly dangerous drug to take and I had to have cataract surgery which, I believe, caused the condition. Also weight gain is definately an issue.
