57 year old with complete hysterectomy 18 years ago. Began with patches, and switched to HRT creams for 6 years. Returned to vivelle dot .1 about 2 years ago. I have never really had uncomfortable symptoms, so it must be helping with that. I have experienced negative side effects, such as hair loss and memory loss. I thought I could live with it....the last 6 months my hair has thinnned to about half of what I had previously. This has caused severe depression. Am now concerned about dementia, as this is now listed as a side effect on the enclosed materials. My obgyn says he has patients in their 70's on the vivelle dot. My thyroid doctor is terrified for me.
