Within 2 days of full doses of this medication, I felt like a new person. My pain was gone and continues to be very manageable with this medication. I feel like a new, different and happy person again. Published: November 15, 2007 ::

As a fitness instructor with a degenerative hip, Voltaren gave me my life back. I could arise in the morning free of pain, go up stairs, put on my socks and teach a Senior class every day, land and water. I could again go shopping and walk around a store. Published: December 14, 2007 ::

I took celebrex for approx. 8 years. It just seemed not to work as well as it did. Also the price was very expesive. I paid $500.00 for a 90 day supply! That was with insurance. My ortho. MD put me on voltaren, I noted a change in my knee pain in the 1st week. Not to mention I can get a 30 day supply at walmart for $1 with my insurance! Published: November 04, 2007 ::

The worst heartburn I've ever had - and I have always had a bit of GERD. I had lower back surgery (herniated disc) a few years ago and Dr. put me on this to help control the associated swelling and general issues I seem to always have with my back. Works pretty good and better than narcotics. Published: September 18, 2007 ::

I've been taking this for arthritis and it works great. I very seldom have bad effects from any med. I get tremendous relief from this. Very satisfied with it. Published: July 21, 2008 ::

Have been using it on and off for the last 12 years and it has been the only med that gets me out of pain. I take the 75mg BID dosage. I don't usually take it 2x a day and try to limit it 1X a day at the most. I have had horrible back pain since '96 and a ruptured disc last year(surgery 7/07). After the surgery last year....man, I can't live without it!! But i have found that I can take it once a day...no stomach problems but will look into the kidney thing. The key is to take it with food and to drink lots of water with any meds you take because we have to remember that all of that stuff gets filtered through the liver and water helps it filter without toxicity. My right hip had been bothering me for years with discomfort every time I would lay on that side. I wish I would have known about this medication sooner because the relief is wonderful as well as side benefits of other joint discomfort relief. The generic brand is very affordable with my prescription plan. I do need a little food when I take it to help relieve some minor stomach discomfort. Published: February 09, 2008 ::
