I have tried to quit smoking many, many times. I was finally successful while using Zyban. Not only were my cravings much milder and easier to handle, by I did not substitute with food. Very beneficial for me. Published: November 05, 2007 ::

I took zyban 9 yrs ago and after 2 weeks I quit smoking and I have never had the desire to smoke again! The only side effect I remember having is very weird dreams and some night mares, so I quit taking it, but it served it;s purpose. Published: February 06, 2008 ::

I have tried to quit 5 times and tried every product and medication. I wish I had tried this first. Side-effects are minimal compared to other treatments. I did not follow any specific quit date philosophy. After two weeks I gradually just did not want to smoke anymore. No other treatment has worked in this way. Published: July 03, 2008 ::

One of the side effects of this drug has been helpful: the odd taste in my mouth. When I had a cigarette it would leave an awful taste in my mouth. The second day after I quit I had some pretty strong cravings, but have not had any physical cravings since. Published: November 04, 2008 ::

i am only on my third day of taking zyban and althoug i do feel a bit nauseous and a bit acidy it is actually stopping me from smoking already. Half of me is saying go on have a fag yet something is stopping me and when i finally give in a light up it tastes disgusting and i end up putting it out after a couple of puffs. if anyone has experienced the nausea, does it last and does it get worse when you up the treatment to twice daily as this is th only thing that would stop me from continuing with the treatment. This medication made me feel ill. I constantly felt nausea and at times had the feeling I was going to pass out. Sometimes I would get tunnel vision and lose concentration. It was the most aweful method I've ever used to quit smoking. Published: December 17, 2008 ::

I had been smoking for 15 years and this is the first time I have tried to quit, the only pain is the constantly dry mouth, but this definitely suppresses the need for lighting up. I was on 1 tablet a day for a week while smoking normally, after the second week cut down from 15 a day to two with no hassles, this lasted for three days. I then had a few drags from friends and work colleagues for a day or two. Once I believed I had quit I had a few beers with some friends and felt no urge to light one up at all. My brother recommended it to me and I would recommend it to anyone seriously considering kicking the habit. Published: July 15, 2009 ::
