Peppermint Oil

Peppermint Oil is an herbal supplement that has found to be effective as treatment for colic, common cold, dysmenorrhea, indigestion, inflammation of mouth/pharynx, irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, vomiting, pain, respiratory infections, and tension headaches.

Inhaled for Post-Operative Nausea

• 0.2 ml in 2 ml of isotonic saline

Topical for Tension Headaches

• Apply topically as needed every 15-30 minutes

• Take with an adequate amount of fluid to prevent bowel obstruction

• Avoid use in patients with the absence of hydrochloric acid in the gastric secretions (achlorhydria) with enteric-coated caps. Avoid use with infants and children.
• This medication contains peppermint oil. Do not take Lavandulae aetheroleum, Balm Mint, Black Peppermint, Brandy Mint, Curled Mint, Feuilles de Menthe, Menthe Piperita, Menthe Poivree, Our Lady's mint, and White Peppermint. If you are allergic to peppermint oil or any ingredients contained in this drug.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
