Definition of COVID Toes

COVID toes is a term that refers to swelling and discoloration of the toes seen in people infected with the COVID-19 virus. The toes may take on a reddish or purplish color. One or multiple toes may be affected. Many people who develop COVID toes have no other symptoms or signs of the condition. COVID toes may sometimes cause itching, pain, or blisters.
