bismuth subcit k-metronidazole-tetracycline oral and dronabinol oral

bismuth subcit k-metronidazole-tetracycline oral increases toxicity of dronabinol oral by inhibiting the metabolism of an enzyme (aldehyde dehydrogenase) needed in the body during alcohol intoxication. Dronabinol oral solution (Syndros) contains alcohol, which can produce a disulfiram like reaction if combined with metronidazole. Discontinue metronidazole at least 14 days before starting dronabinol solution and do not administer metronidazole within 7 days of completing treatment with dronabinol solution.

bismuth subcit k-metronidazole-tetracycline oral increases toxicity of dronabinol oral by aldehyde dehydrogenase inhibition. Dronabinol oral solution (Syndros) contains 50% (w/w) dehydrated alcohol 5.5% (w/w) propylene glycol, which can produce disulfiramlike reactions if coadministered with metronidazole. Discontinue metronidazole at least 14 days before starting dronabinol solution and do not administer metronidazole within 7 days of completing treatment with dronabinol solution.
