ciprofloxacin hcl oral increases levels of metoprolol succinate-hydrochlorothiazide oral by decreasing metabolism. Ciprofloxacin may increase metoprolol plasma concentrations however mechanism is unknown. Further clinical evidence is needed but it may be appropriate to monitor patients during concomitant therapy with ciprofloxacin.
