famotidine oral will decrease the level or effect of rilpivirine oral by reducing stomach acidity. This interaction may occur when both drugs are taken by mouth. Combination should be avoided; may reduce rilpivarine levels; Take famotidine at least 2 hours before or at least 4 hours after rilpivirine

famotidine oral and rilpivirine oral

famotidine oral will decrease the level or effect of rilpivirine oral by increasing gastric pH. Applies only to oral form of both agents. Concurrent use, may cause treatment failure and/or the development of rilpivirine or NNRTI resistance owing to decreased levels. Administer H2 antagonists at least 12 hours before or at least 4 hours after rilpivirine.
