ofloxacin opht will increase the level or effect of pirfenidone oral by altering drug metabolism. Blood levels of pirfenidone may be increased. Before taking pirfenidone you should stop taking the other drug and avoid it during pirfenidone treatment.

ofloxacin opht will increase the level or effect of pirfenidone oral by affecting hepatic enzyme CYP1A2 metabolism. Use of strong CYP1A2 inhibitors should be discontinued before initiating pirfenidone and avoided during treatment; if strong CYP1A2 inhibitors are the only drug of choice, dosage reductions are recommended
