ondansetron oral and panobinostat oral both increase causing a dangerous abnormal heart rhythm. Panobinostat is known to significantly increase risk of abnormal heart beats. Panobinostat prescribing information states taking in this combination is not recommended; however, drugs used to treat nausea and vomiting (antiemetics) known to increase abnormal heart beats (eg, dolasetron, granisetron, ondansetron) can be used with frequent ECG monitoring.
