primidone oral will decrease the level or effect of estradiol valerate-dienogest oral by altering drug metabolism. Decreased level or effect of estradiol valerate/dienogest. Avoid combination and do not use estradiol valerate/dienogest for 28 days after stopping the drug.

primidone oral will decrease the level or effect of estradiol valerate-dienogest oral by affecting hepatic/intestinal enzyme CYP3A4 metabolism. Women should not choose estradiol valerate/dienogest as their contraceptive while using strong CYP3A4 inducers due to potential decrease in contraceptive efficacy. Estradiol valerate/dienogest should not be used for at least 28 days after discontinuation of the inducer due to possibility of decreased contraceptive efficacy.
