sumatriptan subq and linezolid iv both increase affecting serotonin levels in the blood. Too much serotonin is a potentially life-threatening situation. Severe signs and symptoms include high blood pressure and increased heart rate that lead to shock. Linezolid may increase serotonin. If linezolid must be taken, your doctor will have you stop taking the serotonergic drug immediately and monitor you for central nervous system (CNS) toxicity. You can begin taking the other drug again 24 hours after last linezolid dose or after 5 weeks of monitoring, whichever comes first

If linezolid must be administered, discontinue serotonergic drug immediately and monitor for CNS toxicity. Serotonergic therapy may be resumed 24 hours after last linezolid dose or after 2 weeks of monitoring, whichever comes first.
